The Rowland Humble Whistle Collection
Ex Royal Navy, maritime enthusiast Rowland Humble has amassed his extraordinary collection of steam whistles, horns and sirens over a lifetime. Gathered from obscure auction houses and remote ships’ graveyards around the globe, his collection represents the most comprehensive in the world. We are in the process of finding a new home for this important collection, which includes the unique 3-chime whistle of the RMS Mauretania, the largest ship in the world when she was built in 1906.
